The tree of knowledge growing out of the book of wisdom.

A philosophical field guide for system-breakers, truth-seekers, and neurodivergent minds who see through the noise.

Unmask the traps. Reclaim your agency. Redesign your world.

This isn’t self-help.

It’s self-strategy.

Conquests of the Impossible is a living philosophical work by Nathan Organ, reworking the spirit of Miyamoto Musashi’s Book of Five Rings for the modern battlefield: attention, complexity, bureaucracy, ideology, neurodivergence, AI, and the struggle to remain sovereign inside broken systems.

The book is the foundation.

The Substack is where the living work unfolds.

Read the essays. Follow the field notes. Enter the architecture.

This work is for people who can feel that something is wrong in the world, but want more than complaint. It is for those trying to think clearly, act wisely, and recover agency inside systems that often reward performance over truth.

If the world does not make sense, it may not be because you are broken.

It may be because the system was never designed for people like us.

Let’s redesign it.

The Work Begins With Other Eyes

“The only true voyage of discovery, the only fountain of Eternal Youth, would be not to visit strange lands but to possess other eyes, to behold the universe through the eyes of another, of a hundred others, to behold the hundred universes that each of them beholds, that each of them is.” — Marcel Proust

Conquests of the Impossible begins from this premise: that reality is not only something we observe, but something we learn to perceive through better instruments.

Philosophy is one of those instruments.

Neurodivergence is another.

So is suffering, if we survive it without letting it make us stupid.

This work is an invitation to look again — at yourself, at systems, at power, at agency, and at the hidden machinery beneath ordinary life.

The Book

Each section reflects a different terrain of challenge.

Book of Air — cognition, growth, self-realisation, and the relationship between mind, body, and perspective.

Book of Fire — conflict, society, capitalism, Black Swan events, ideology, and the systems that shape behaviour.

Book of Water — vulnerability, mindfulness, critical thinking, neurodiversity, and adaptation.

Book of Earth — grounding, discipline, inner peace, and the search for coherence.

Book of Void — uncertainty, emergence, change, continuity, and the future we are being forced to meet.

Core Ideas

Cognitive Equity — designing life, tools, and systems around how people actually think.

The Ideology Paradox — when good causes become an excuse for bad behaviour.

The Intelligentsia Mirage — when intellect becomes costume rather than compass.

Performative Ideological Alignment — conforming to stay safe instead of thinking to remain coherent.

SARD — the pain of being misunderstood when offering honest help.

These are not slogans.

They are instruments for seeing.

This Is Not Just a Book

This is a mission to reclaim meaning, agency, and truth.

Whether you are neurodivergent, burned out, system-aware, philosophically restless, or simply tired of the ideological fog, you are in the right place.

Don’t panic.

Begin anywhere.
